Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has been named NASCO coach of the year after a successful 2020/2021 campaign with the Ghana Premier League(GPL) Champions.
The fast raising manager beat competition from WAFA coach Prosper Nettey, Great Olympics’ Annor Walker, Dreams FC’s Vladislav Viric and Asante Kotoko’s Mariano Barreto to win the end of the season accolade.
Boadu led the Phobians to the GPL title after taking over the club mid-way through the season where they were positioned 7th on the table.
The former Medeama enjoyed an impressive run in the league with the Rainbow side where he set the record of the longest winning streak-5 as well as the longest unbeaten run of 11 matches without defeat.
Samuel Boadu after clinching the league title went all the way to add the MTN FA Cup, completing a stunning double which was the clubs first since 2000.
