Ghana’s Group G opponents, Zimbabwe and South Africa shared the spoils in the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup qualifier at Zimbabwe National Stadium.
The Warriors settled for a goalless draw with Bafana Bafana which hand the Black Stars the advantage of going top of the group with a win over Ethiopia tonight.
Zimbabwe have begun their search for a first-ever appearance at the World Cup with a draw and will hope to correct the wrongs in the second game against Ethiopia on Monday.
Meanwhile, South Africa who has appeared three times at the World’s biggest international tournament will host Ghana in Johannesburg.
The Black Stars after missing out in the last edition of the competition three years ago will look to commence the new journey with a win over the “Walias” at the Cape Coast Stadium before the trip to South Africa on Monday.
The game is scheduled for 7 PM kickoff time.
