Head of the Black Stars, CK Akonnor has named his first eleven for the 2022 World Cup qualifier against South Africa at the FNB Stadium later today.
Richard Ofori retains his place in goal. Hearts of Oak skipper Mohammed Fatawu starts at right back, coming in for Andy Yiadom.
Bordeaux left back Gideon Mensah comes in for Baba Rahman. Alexander Djiku retains his position and has been paired with Jonathan Mensah, who makes a return to the first eleven for the first time since 2019.
In midfield, CK Akonnor picked Mubarak Wakaso, Emmanuel Lomotey and Majeed Ashimeru, with Yaw Yeboah, Andre Ayew and Joel Fameyeh leading the attack.
The game will kickoff at 16:00 GMT.
