Hearts of Oak trio of Mohammed Fatawu, Daniel Afriyie and Richard Attah have resumed training just hours after returning to the country from Johannesburg for national assignment with the Black Stars.
The trio were part of the team that represented Ghana in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa.
Ghana first defeated Ethiopia 1-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium on Friday, before losing by a similar scoreline to South Africa in Johannesburg on Monday.
Mohammed Fatawu featured in the defeat to South Africa, lasting the entire duration.
The Black Stars after the disappointing performance returned to Ghana on Tuesday morning. But just hours after the team’s return, the trio joined their club teammates in training, a Twitter post confirmed.
The Phobians resumed training on Tuesday afternoon after returning to Ghana last night from Togo. Hearts of Oak on Monday lost 1-0 to Togolese champions ASKO KARA in a friendly encounter.
The Ghana Premier League champions are currently training for their CAF Champions League Preliminary round game against Guinean side Club Industriel de Kamsar.
The first leg is scheduled for Saturday, September 11 in Guinea and second leg in Accra a week later.
Meanwhile, the venue for the first leg is likely to change due to the unrest in Guinea.
