Asante Kotoko versatile player Habib Mohammed has been heavily linked with a transfer to reigning Ghana Premier League champions Hearts of Oak, according to Kumasi-based Pure FM.
The centre-back is among 8 players who have been transfer-listed by the Porcupines for an undisclosed reason.
According to the report, the Phobians have been in talks with the player and his management team with negotiations far advanced.
If signed by the 2000 CAF Champions League Champions, the former Ashantigold man will not partake in the club’s Champions League clash against Wydad Athletic Club until the Phobians make it to the money zone by which the second transfer window will be opened.
Habib who joined Kotoko in 2018 can play in central defence, as a defensive midfielder, and also as a lateral defender.
