Asante Kotoko on last week wrote again to Medeama for the services of Justice Blay.
The Tarkwa-based club responded the letter, quoting 50,000 Ghana Cedis as his price tag.
The Porcupines are yet to respond to Medeama’s letter as of now with the reply expected to go next week as they aim to capture his services before their trip to Dubai.
Blay has not been part of Medeama’s preseason training so far.
The 29-year-old had a honeymoon spell with Asante Kotoko SC on a loan deal in the 2019-20 season and has now made a sensational permanent switch to the Kumasi-based club.
Blay before his injury was in a terrific form in the 2020-21 season for Medeama, featuring 16 times, netting three goals in the process before picking up the injury against Legon Cities in Tarkwa which kept him out of the rest of the just-ended season.
The former Sekondi Hasaacas man has however recovered from the injury and has started training.
Blay featured 18 times during his loan spell at Asante Kotoko and scored 3 goals for the Porcupines.
The midfielder helped Asante Kotoko to win the 2019 President’s Cup over Hearts of Oak. He was always in the headlines for his stunning performances for the Porcupines.
