Hearts of Oak midfielder, Abdul Manaf Umar has refused to extend his contract with the Phobians following his loan move to Real Tamale United (RTU).
RTU in September last month announced the signing of the attacking midfielder from the Ghana Premier League(GPL) champions.
Manaf took to his Twitter page to bid farewell to Hearts of Oak after spending three years with the senior team- he was promoted from the youth side in 2018.
The Rainbow side despite completing the deal have been in talks with the player for an extension of his contract which ends in 2022. The club offered a two-years extension before his loan move.
According transfer Journalist Mohammed Shaban, agreement between the two parties is far from reach and thus Hearts have demanded that RTU makes the deal permanent in the coming days.
With just a year left in Manaf’s contract, he will become free agent after the loan spell with the newly promoted first.
Meanwhile, the current transfer window is set to close on October 9 as the new GPL season is set to start on October 29.
