The Ghana Premier League Champions, Accra Hearts Of Oak has called for fair officiating during their 2nd leg Champoins League game against the Moroccoans champions, Wydad Athletic club on 24th October 2021 at the King Mohammed V Sports Stadium.
The team complained that, they had poor officiating during the first leg clash in Accra. Hearts lead 1-0 on aggregate after securing a the slim victory last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“We had our share of bad officiating from Referee Carvalho and his assistants and it had some effect on the performance of the team”
“As the team prepares for the second leg Preliminary qualifiers the main concern for the team is to get fair officiating on the day”. The club said it on their official website.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed an experienced Gabonese referee Eric Arnaud Otogo Castane to handle CAF Champions League 2nd Preliminary round stage second leg qualifier between Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco and Accra Hearts of Oak on 24th October 2021.
He will be assisted by compatriots Urbain Ondo Ndong (Assistant I), Felix Abaa Eyaga (Assistant II), and Isidore Essono nze Nze (Fourth Official).
The match is scheduled for the King Mohammed V Sports complex in Casablanca on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 19:00GMT
