“We have a chance to make amends” – Hearts of Oak switch attention to Confederation Cup

The Communications of Accra Hearts of Oak has assured it fans and Ghanaians for good performance as the drop to join the CAF Confederation Cup aftermath 6 – 2 aggregate scoreline defeat to Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco.

It was a heartbreaking and humiliating result in the second leg encounter as the Moroccans bags 6 goals into the net of Hearts of Oak against the 1 of the rainbow boys.

In a statement issued on Monday morning after the humiliating result the club has apologized to the fan base to still have hope in the team and support them in the CAF Confederations Cup for them to have a stunning performance despite disappointing Ghanaians.

According to the details, the Communications of the club stated in the second paragraph of the statement that “We have a chance to make amends in the Confederations Cup and the important lesson we have picked in Morocco will inspire us to rise above the current disappointment, as we take inspiration from the motto of our club “Never say die until the bones are rotten”.

“We are Hearts of Oak! We will leave to fight another day to make the Phobia family proud.”

The CAF Confederations Cup draw will come off tomorrow for each club to know their opponent.

Hearts of Oak are still optimistic to make Ghanaians proud in CAF Confederations Cup.
