2015 champions of the EPL welcomed London based Arsenal at the King Power Stadium in an early kick-off of the English top flight.
Black Stars duo, Daniel Amartey and Thomas Partey were in action for both sides.
Amartey nearly scored an own goal in the first minute of the game but the goalkeeper was sharp in his gloves to save that.
Arsenal were poised in the first five minutes looking for a goal until Gabriel’s header gave them the lead after the fifth minute.
The away side were highly pressing Leicester for a second goal in the first ten minutes. Smith Rowe doubled the scoreline for the Gunners on the 17th minute.
Leicester City came into the game after realizing their mistakes and were strongly searching for the consolation but Arsenal who had already taken the lead fenced their backyard to prevent the two goals.
Daniel Amartey was substituted on the 46th minute for Harvey Barnes to play the entire half of the game.
The performance of both sides were phenomenal in the second half. Leicester City tried a lot to have a consolation but Arsenal where boldly defending to guide their two goals which led to 2 – 0 victory in favour of the away side.
Thomas Partey scored his first goal for Arsenal in their game against Aston Villa in their previous EPL game on 22nd October.
Partey enjoyed the entire duration of the game with 53 touches, 38 accurate touches.
