Black Stars head coach Milovan Rajevac has named 28-man squad for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa next week in the return league.
The Black Stars will lock horns with the Wallias on Thursday, November 11, 2021, on a neutral ground before hosting the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Cape Coast.
The senior national team began their FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers with a goal victory over Ethiopia and were defeated by South Africa in September by a lone goal.
The team is poised on making a return to the global stage, having drawn a plan which can help them to cross over to Qatar.
Sheriff Tiraspol midfielder, Edmund Addo whose performance in the UEFA Champions against Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid was phenomenal has earned his first call up into the national team meanwhile Mubarak Wakaso has also returned to the team after a short term injury with AS Roma 18year old Felix Afena Gyan earning his first call up.

Ghana first qualified for the World Cup in 2006, and impressed in their debut World Cup tournament in Germany, and was kicked out by Brazil in the round of 16.
The four-time African Champions bounced back four years later in South Africa, Ghana held the fourth for Africa by reaching the quarter-finals, only to be denied a place in the last four by a Luis Suarez handball and the lottery of penalty kicks.
Ghana last performed at the 2014 World Cup and was dropped from the group stages with so many issues concerning players fighting over unpaid bonuses and missed the 2018 Mundial in Russia after losing to Egypt in the last round of the qualifiers.
