The South African Football Association (SAFA) has announced to match the Senegalese referee, Ndiaye Maguette and his assistants to the Federation of International Football (FIFA) over poor performance in their game against the Black Stars of Ghana last night at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in a World Cup qualifiers last group game.
The referee awarded the home side a penalty during the first department of the game which was calmly converted by Al Sadd star, Andre Ayew at the 33rf minute to separate the two sides.
The South African Football Association has confirmed to file a petition against the Senegalese referee and his other assistants for making a poor decision.
According to the SAFA CEO, Thebogo Motlanthe will file a complaint against the match officials.
“The association has decided to lodge a formal complaint so that the conduct of the match officials will be investigated,”
“We will be having a press conference in which we will be telling the nation what will happen going forward,” he added.
