Former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Michael Akuffu will on this weekend part ways with his 78-year-old bylogical mother, Madam Abena Mbroba also known as Abena Nii.
The family of Akuffu and Mbroba are saddened to invite you the funeral of their cherished mum who’s death occurred some few days ago.
The funeral ceremony is said to be staged at the Methodist Chapel Square, Senya Beraku in the Central Region, starting from Friday, 19 November to Sunday, 21 November 2021
The deceased of Late Abena Mbroba will be laid down in bed Saturday morning at the aforementioned center and will be buried at the Senya Beraku Cemetery.
The ex-defensive midfielder, Akuffu played Asante Kotoko between 2011 and 2017. He was part of Ghana’s U20 team during 2003 and 2004. He later joined the Ghana’s squad for the Olympics games in 2008 and was also capped in 7 games for the senior national soccer team, The Black Stars of Ghana.
The 33-year-old Ghanaian Star currently play his club football for Kumasi-based side King Faisal
The former Ghana youth midfielder also spent time abroad to play for the likes of Asec Mimosa, FC PoPa in Finland and Lebanese side Al Ansar.
With this sad news Michael Akuffu wishes to invite you to mourn his lovely mum this weekend.
