The ‘Inshallah’ boys are once again with a victory to move to the top of the league table following matchday seven results.

A 28th minute Ibrahim Osman’s effort was all King Faisal needed to catch up as the Ghana Premier League entered Week 7 this weekend.

King Faisal laboured to record a 1-0 home win over Elmina Sharks at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, and the victory as much sends them to top the league.

Impressively, newly-promoted side Gold Stars recorded their fourth victory at the Bibiani Dun’s Park. Prince Owusu Kwabena’s 71st minute strike was the separating factor as they picked a 1-0 home win over Bechem United.

Legon Cities at home shared the spoil with Berekum Chelsea in a scoreless draw.

Likewise, Dreams FC came away with a point from their visit to Techiman against Eleven Wonders. Abass Ganiu was the hero for the home side making it 1-1 after Samuel Boakye put the home side in front during the 90th minute.

It may, perhaps, be the final straw for coach Hamdan Zaragoza as his WAFA side, once again failed to claim maximum points at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena Stadium. The lads hopes of recording a second win of the season was quashed by Seth Osei at the 27th minute. WAFA sit at the 17th of the table with 5 points.

RTU suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to 2014-15 FA Cup champions Medeama SC. Ansu Kofi Patrick fetched the solitary goal at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.

Karela United grabbed a 3-0 victory at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Anyinase over newly promoted side Accra Lions.

Umar Basiru opened the scoreline from a spot kick at the 30th minute. George Amonoo and Ebenezer Ocran extended the victory for the Anyinase based-club at the 43rd and the 58th minute.

Aduana Stars gears up with fourth straight win after a slender victory over Great Olympics in Dormaa with an early goal from Bright Agyei at the 2nd minute of the game.

Elsewhere, the Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been rescheduled due to delay arrival of the Phoobians after their CAF Confederations Cup play-offs second leg clash against JS Saoura in Algeria.
