The Kadjebi District in the Oti Region is making the news for positive reasons following the Nana Dabo Community Championship in the area.
The tournament which was organised to give a platform for the youth to showcase their football talents as well as foster unity among the communities has succeeded to add something special even during the holidays.
The Secretary of the Committee overseeing the tournament Derrick Yao Akpoh is elated over the success of the championship and is already looking forward to more of such events in the area as the community leaders and the youth keep praising the organizers especially Emmanuel Nana Dabo, the brain behind the tournament.
The curtains are being drawn on the Championship with the 3rd and 4th place match between Cement and Todome today while tomorrow sees Yadzo V Ahamansu United in the final match, which promises to be very exciting as the two battled for the ultimate prize. Several talents have already been unearthed during the Championship, which is one of the positives out of the tournament.
