Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has secured a deal with South Africa broadcast giants SuperSport TV for punditry engagement for the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars all time top scorer took to social media to announce the deal, expressing his delight and satisfaction over it.
“Excited to be joining @SuperSportTV as a Pundit for their coverage of #AFCON2021 This has been in the works for sometime and I am excited about the challenge”, Gyan wrote on twitter.
Having scored 51 goals in 109 appearances for Ghana, Gyan has featured prominently in the Africa Cup of Nations for Ghana after making his international debut at age 17 against Somalia in 2003.
Gyan is looking forward to a successful punditry work with SuporSport TV during the AFCON.
“Looking forward to sharing my knowledge on Africa’s biggest football gathering together with other legends”, he concluded.
The 36-year old former Liberty Professionals forward is yet to announce his retirement from international football, and has been without a club currently after ending his short spell with Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC.
