Thomas Partey was the first foreign-based player to leave the camp of the Black Stars following their early exit from the AFCON and embarrassment.
The midfielder booked for a direct flight straight from Cameroon after the shocking 3-2 defeat to Comoros on Tuesday evening.
Partey came in as a substitute for Emile Smith Rowe during the 74th minute but the 28-year old was sent off after receiving a second yellow at the last minute of the game.
He received his first in the 87th minute, before being given his marching orders for a poor challenge moments on Fabinho later.
