Moldovan champions FC Sheriff have given former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Razak Abalora official welcome to the the club and have unveiled him to the fans as he is taken on a trophy room tour.
Abalora sealed his move from Asante Kotoko to Sheriff last week on a reported three and half years deal following a successful negotiation between the two clubs. Both clubs announced the permanent transfer of the 25-year old goalkeeper on January 21 and the player has now been taken round the club’s trophy room, where he is shown the achievements of the club, and the Ghanaian shot stopper is impressed.
Following his unveiling pending the announcement of his squad number, the former WAFA, Azam FC goalkeeper took to social media on Tuesday to express hims impressions about the Sheriff family. While expressing his happiness for being at the club, Abalora pledged to fight hard to add on to the achievements of the “beautiful family” of the club.
“Happy to be here and ready to fight hard for this beautiful family”, Abalora wrote via Twitter.
Upon his departure, Ibrahim Danlad has taken over the number one spot in the posts for Asante Kotoko, and has been impressive so far, keeping clean sheet against Medeama Sporting Club in their GPL match week 14 encounter last Sunday.
