The Stallions of Burkina Faso have qualified to the semi-finals of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations with a goal victory against Tunisia on Saturday evening in Cameroon.
Confidence level was up for the Stallions before going in for their third game against the North Africans at the AFCON.
This has become the fourth time Burkina Faso has reached the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Tunisia came in as the most favorites team to win this game following their slim victory against Nigeria in the round of 16.
Their hardworking and tactics denied them a goal despite the Stallions ending the game with ten men after the goal scorer Dango Ouattara was sent off due to violent conduct.
Dango Ouattara’s winning goal was scored at the last minutes of the first half, putting the Stallions on a lead before the break.
They will face Senegal or Equatorial Guinea.
In the other match in the last four, hosts Cameroon will play either Egypt or Morocco.
