Accra Hearts of Oak could not have let sleepy dogs lie, and and have finally come out to respond to rivals Asante Kotoko’s social media post on Saturday which seemingly sought to make mockery of them over delay in announcing a new signing, after teasing post on January 26.
Hearts of Oak moved to keep their fans in suspense by posting on their social media handle a picture of a chair with the caption “ANTICIPATE”. This was in anticipation of the club’s pending announcement of newly signed players, expected to be Dennis Korsah of Ebusua Dwarfs, Konadu Yiadom of WAFA, and probably of a foreign based striker.
Four days had passed and the supposed announcement was not forthcoming, and Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak’s bitterest rivals, decided to take to twitter to mock their rivals for failure to deliver on their promises with a teasing picture of a broken chair bearing the caption “ANTICI….”.
Today, the Phobians have come out strongly to send a signal that the said announcement is due, and they have done the hint with reposting the broken chair posted earlier by Asante Kotoko.
