Chairman for Kotoko Circles in China, Circle 0086 Richard Oduro Koranteng has bemoaned over the lack of experience in the current Kotoko team after watching yesterday’s version of the Super Clash against Hearts Of Oak.

Asante Kotoko played a frantic goalless stalemate with the Rainbows at the Accra Sports Stadium.

After analyzing the performance, Chairman Oduro Koranteng cried out for the Porcupines to get an experienced player like ex-Black Stars right back, Samuel Inkoom.

Speaking exclusively to ghanasportspage.com after the stalemate, he emphasized that the performance against Hearts on Sunday has exposed the experience level of the Porcupines and they needed to add experienced players like Inkoom or Harrison Afful to help the club finish the Phobians.

Mfegue and Etouga, Lamptey and Ganiu have been the best but Koranteng believes they couldn’t finish the Phobians because of the lack of experience.

“Yesterday’s performance against Hearts shows clearly that Kotoko still needs to get an experienced player like Samuel Inkoom because yesterday it was inexperience, to be honest. They should get some experienced players like Samuel Inkoom and Harrison Afful, like how Hearts signed Muntari to increase the tempo of the game.

“They have to do everything to get Samuel Inkoom and if he is eager to join them then they should do everything to get him.”

Ex-Basel star, Samuel Inkoom was reportedly on the verge of making a return to the club in recent days after eleven years leaving the Ghanaian giants.

The right-back, who represented the Black Stars at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, featured for the Porcupine Warriors in the 2008-09 season before leaving for Basel in Switzerland.

Currently, he is a free agent following his departure from the Georgian side, Torpedo Kutaisi.
