A man (name withheld) has been arrested by the Ghana Police for indulging in illegal trade for personal gains at the detriment of Accra Hearts of Oak during the Super Clash at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday.
The suspect according to a statement released by Accra Hearts of Oak on Monday, was arrested on Sunday for engaging in the selling of fake match tickets for spectators. The suspect is helping the police with investigations into the act with the notion of tracing other accomplices for possible prosecution.
The game between Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko was in high demand for football lovers, but would have to pay amounts of 70 to 200 Ghana Cedis to acquire a ticket to catch a glimpse of the biggest game in Ghana club football.
Hearts of Oak in the statement, has cautioned all persons with similar intentions to desist from such despicable acts before they face the rigorous of the law.
