Ajax boss Erik ten Hag has named Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus in his 22 man squad to Portugal for the Round of 16 UEFA Champions League game.
Ajax will play against Benfica on Wednesday at the Estádio da Luz.
On February 9, 2022 Kudus Mohammed played his first game for Ajax against Vitesse in the quarter-finals of the Netherlands KNVB Beker since November after picking a knock aduring the World Cup qualifier game against South Africa in Cape Coast.
He has also played twice for the Ajax junior team this month for his recovery.
Kudus had to miss the recent AFCON due to injury. He has now been included in the match selection by Ten Hag for the UCL.
