The Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has promised to build a sports stadium for the league leaders of the ongoing 2021/22 league season in just 18 months with the supports from 100,000 committed supporters to contribute a $100 each.
The 86-year old club and two times winners of the CAF Champions League have been using the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and the Jackson Park since the club’s inception, where they have won a lot of laurels.
With the club yet to boost of its own stadium, the CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah is considering building an ultramorden sports center in just 18 months with the supports from the committed fans.
“I will build a stadium for Asante Kotoko within 18 months if I should get 100,000 committed supporters to contribute $100 each.
“Anyone who pays $100 for the Asante Kotoko stadium project, will have his or her name and date of birth on the block forever.”
