The Black Princesses of Ghana will square off with Ethiopia on Sunday March 13th 2022 in the first leg of the final round of the FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup qualifying campaign.
The Princesses progressed from the last stage of the qualifiers with a 7-1 win aggregate over Uganda.
Ahead of the game coming up on Sunday, Coach Ben Fokuo has vowed to return home with victory.
Speaking in an interview with the team’s media men, he stated; “People expects win from us, as I said before we departed from Ghana. This is the first leg of our last qualifiers. The girls have prepared well looking at their dimener and training sessions. It tells you that they are ready for tomorrows match. Come down tomorrow we are going to win the game.”
Black Princesses are going into the game without defeat.
The team left Accra on March 11, 2022 to Addis Ababa for the first leg.
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup is scheduled for Costa Rica in August 2022.
