Simba SC attacking midfielder Bernard Morrison has cried out that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the technical handlers of the Black Stars have continuously snubbed him for no reason.
The football federation and the handlers of the Black Stars have come under consistent backlash for the inexplicable absence of some players from the national team.
A school of thought propound that the technical team of the Black Stars have been handling call-ups to the national team based on friends and cronyism rather than based on merit.
He lambasted the GFA as Ghana failed to score in the crucial World Cup play-offs in the first leg against Nigeria at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium. The midfielder took it to social media after a 0-0 draw against Nigeria.
“Imagine getting ignored all because of these attackers downgrading the league you play in because others got the chance and luck to be in European leagues and clubs outside Africa They’ve made the Ghana National team like a family business, u don’t get invited if u are not linked”.
