The MTN FA Cup Round of 16 matches ended on Sunday, with 8 teams for the quarter final stage confirmed for the draw which has now been announced by the GFA.
The quarter final draw for the knock out competition has been scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 5th April, 2022 in Accra.
Five premier league clubs qualified for the quarter final stage to join three other clubs from the lower division side ahead of the draw. Defending champions Accra Hearts of Oak made it to the last 8 after beating Elmina Sharks by 8-7 on penalties on Sunday.
In a Bono regional derby in Dormaa, Aduana Stars sailed past Berekum Chelsea with a 1-0 win on Sunday, whiles Bechem United made it after edging out lower tier side Kumawuman FC with a 4-2 victory.
