The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final draw in Doha, has come to a successful end, and the Black Stars of Ghana have been handed Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
The Friday dazzling draw has produced Spain and Germany, the 2010 and 2014 champions respectively, facing each other in the group stage game in Group E. The draw proved unfavourable to some countries, whose aspirations of qualifying form the group to the knockout phase hangs by thread considering the nature of opponents they face in the group.
The misfortune fell on the hosts, Qatar, who will have battle it out against three-time runners-up the Netherlands, African champions Senegal, and an Ecuador side who finished above Peru, Colombia and Chile to qualify to the finals.
Holders France will face Denmark, a side the could potentially cause an upset on a good day, while 2014 finalists Argentina will have to battle it out against Mexico, Poland and Saudi Arabia in Group C.
In Group F, Canada, who are making only their second appearance in the World since they last did in the 13th Edition during the 1986 FIFA World Cup hosted by Mexico and won by Diego Amando Maradona’s Argentina, will play their first World Cup game in 36 years against Belgium.
