Ghana and Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew met His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo in the UK after an impressive performance against Arsenal.
President Akufo-Addo was in attendance when Jordan scored as Crystal Palace recorded the 3-0 win against Thomas Partey’s Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday evening at the Selhurst Park.
Ayew scored one of the Eagles’ goals to continue his notable goal-scoring record against the Gunners, being the first Ghanaian to score more goals in the EPL.
President Akufo-Addo left Accra for Washington on Thursday 31st March 2022 at 11:52 pm before jetting off to the UK for an official visit.
Akufo-Addo who is currently in the UK was in attendance to watch the game between the two London rivals and the three Ghanaian players, Jeffrey Schlupp, Jordan Ayew, and Thomas Partey.
He presented a portrait of his jersey to Nana Akufo-Addo.
