Deputy Minister of Transport Soccer Gala: Defending champions eliminated, Breman FC books ticket for finals – The journey for ¢10K ends on Monday

The 2022 edition of Adom Easter Gala, organized by the Deputy Minister of Transport – Ghana as well as MP for Upper West Akim district, Hon. Frederick Obeng Adom is set to end on Monday.

On the way to the finals, the reigning champions, Young Bayern from Asuokaw were brushed-off by Breman FC with a 4-3 scoreline on a penalty shootout at the quarter finals.

After picking up the victory over the title holders, Breman FC defiled the odds to reach the final stage which is scheduled for Monday, 18th April, 2022 after securing a 1-0 win over Great Mohammedans courtesy Nii Baah at the semi-final stage.

The next semi-final game between Adeiso Anchease and Mepom FC will decide the team that joins the first finalist to compete for the ultimate whiles the loser competes Great Mohammedans for the third and fourth place.

The last semi-final clash is scheduled for Monday morning to open the day before the curtain-raiser between Adom Eleven and Upper West Akim Media/Referees Eleven.

The winner will go home with Gh¢10,000 while the second-place team will receive Gh¢5,000 and the third-place team will get Gh¢3,000.

Eight teams from the eight zones qualified for the final playoffs at Adeiso after two weeks journey but Mepom FC, Adeiso Anchease, Breman FC and Great Mohammedans sealed a place at the money zone whiles the four eliminated teams went home with jerseys and balls.
