Four Ghanaian footballers, Edmund Addo, goalkeeper Razak Abalora, Khalid Basit and Patrick Kpozo have won the Moldovan top-flight league with the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League debutants, Sherrif Tiraspol.
The team secured an away victory over Dinamo-Auto before they were crowned as the winners of the 2021/22 season after week 26.
The ex-Asante Kotoko goalkeeper was in the goal post when they won 3-0 over Dinamo on Friday afternoon.
Abalora has now won his first trophy with the Moldovan side after joining them a months ago from the current league leaders of the Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko.

Elsewhere, former Dreams FC forward, Khalid Abdul Basit and former Inter Allies defender, Patrick Kpozo were among the winning team ‘The Yellow-Blacks’ to lift the title.
Tiraspol lifted the trophy with 66 points after 26 games. They will play two more matches to end the season with an ambition to qualify from the preliminary stage of the UCL and take part of the prestigious inter-club competition in Europe next season.
