Asante Kotoko names 20-man traveling squad to face WAFA

League leaders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will cross the Volta Lake to face WAFA in Sogakope in their match day 27 clash on Saturday.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has named 20-man squad for the long trip to the Volta Region to face the academy side but the teams general captain, Abdul Ganiu is still out of the squad.

There is no place in the squad for suspended Patrick Asmah as the Porcupines set up for a long journey clash.

The Reds will be going all together to unleash their on anger on the survival seeking side.

The Academy Boys are on the 16th position on the league table with just 20 points out of 26 games.

The league leaders are already visiting the home side with 1-0 victory in the first leg. The last time they defeated WAFA in Sogakope was 2017.

It will be hard for the boys to rock over the guests due to their poor performance in the current season.

Kotoko have lost two games in a row, lost 2-1 to RTU and 3-1 to Legon Cities.
