The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has on Tuesday, named a team of four as members of the Ghana senior national men’s football team, the Black Stars, with Otto Addo as the head coach.
There has been no changes made as the GFA maintain the same personalities who led the team to secure qualification to the World Cup finals in Qatar after edging Nigeria in the play-off.
The team of four; Otto Addo (Head coach), Chris Hughton (Technical Adviser), George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as assistant coaches will now lead Ghana to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, as well as the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Their mandate is valid till December 2022, the month in which the World Cup Qatar 2022 ends.
“The Ghana Football Association has appointed Otto Addo, Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as coaches of the senior national team, the Black Stars until the end of December 2022”, the GFA announced on Tuesday.
The quartet are expected to soon name their squad for Ghana responsible for the AFCON 2023 qualifiers as well as a four-nation tournament to be played in Japan.
