General captain for the Senior Male National team Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, has sealed a four-year deal with Legon Cities.
According to the deal Ghana’s all-time leading goalscorer will earn $1 million-making it $250,000 per annum.
The 33-year-old was sought after by Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko following his professed love for the club, but the deal broke down due to financial demands from the former Sunderland prodigy.
Gyan joins former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda who was also signed by the club last season.
Asamoah Gyan’s acquisition will definitely bring excitement to the Ghana Premier League due to prowess goal scoring abilities.

Gyan has played in three FIFA World Cups, 2006, 2010, and 2015.
Legon Cities will commence its 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign against Berekum Chelsea next month.
