The newly-crowned GPL champions visit Accra Lions on the final day of the Ghana Premier League with a strong lineup.
The Porcupine Warriors lifted the trophy in style with a remarkable event last weekend at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium after beating Elmina Sharks 3-0 in front of their supporters.
Despite the result from today’s game having no particular impact on the standings, the league winners will be seeking another win with Mbella looking to snatch the ‘Golden Boot’.
The hosts also have a score to settle after losing to the visitors 3-1 in Kumasi but they have already confirmed their stay in the Ghanaian top-flight league.
Ahead of the game, the history-maker and the lecturer Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has named Kotoko’s starting line-up to battle out against the Lions.
Kwame Baah has remained in the goal post for the third consecutive time, being supported in the defense by Christopher Nettey and Maxwell Agyemang.
No special changes were made in the squad but the expected and the usual starters including Etouga, Imoro Ibrahim, and Richard Boadu Agadas will be starting in today’s fixture.
