Former U-20 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner and Ghana youth star, Ebenezer Assifuah has tipped Ghana to qualify from Group H in the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Ghana are tied in Group H alongside Uruguay, Portugal and South Korea.
The upcoming world’s largest competition will take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world, and the second World Cup held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.
Ghana made record in their second appearance at the 2010 World Cup after reaching the quarter-finals where they were eliminated by Uruguay.
In this time, coach Otto Addo and his boys are poised to cross over after brushing off Nigeria to secure a spot in the final competition.
Ebenezer Assifuah who plays as a striker for Ligue 2 club Pau FC in France believes Ghana will be among the teams to qualify from the group stages.

Speaking in an interview, the former Ghana youth star shortly stated, “Though it’s a tough group but I believe that with the current team and team work Ghana will surely qualify from the group stage,” Assifuah divulged on Original Tv’s Sports Punch Show.
Ahead of the tournament the West African giants are trying to boost their team with new faces.
Already, six new players (Tariq Lamptey, Inaki Williams, Mohammed Salisu, Stephan Ambrosius, Patrick Pfeffer and Ransford Yeboah) have agreed to play for the Black Stars of Ghana as confirmed by the President of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), Kurt Okraku.
The likes of Eddie Nketiah and Callum Hudson-Odoi are still mulling whether to commit to Ghana or otherwise with time running out especially for Hudson-Odoi who has been capped by England.
