The MTN FA Cup winners, Accra Hearts of Oak have finished the signing of former Medeama and Legon Cities goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi ahead of the upcoming season.
Antwi has agreed a three-year contract to move to the Rainbows as a replacement for goalkeeper Richmond Ayi who is set to leave the shores of Africa to join American-based Cincinnati, one of the partners of the FA Cup record winners.
The top shot-stopper has almost ten years experience in the local league, having played for Amidaus Professionals, Asante Kotoko, Medeama SC and Legon Cities.
The former Ghana U-20 first choice goalkeeper joined Legon Cities in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season putting up better performance and giving world class saves.
His outstanding performance recorded won him two man of the match awards, with most popular one against his new club, Accra Hearts of Oak SC at the Accra Sports Stadium where he stood in between the sticks to deny the Phobias a win.
After just a season stint with the Royals, Eric Ofori Antwi decided to face a new challenge in the league.
The 27-year-old was also a target for newly promoted GPL side, Nsoatremang FC.
