Investigations of Ghanasportspage.com discloses the plans of Hearts of Oak captain Fatawu Mohammed.
The defender’s possibilities of staying with the 2020/21 GPL winners is in doubt despite having a running contract with the Phobians which will run till 2023.
Fatawu Mohammed signed a 2-year contract extension in December last year following his perfect works when the team broke their long-term trophy drought.
His performances earned him a senior national team call-up and marked his debut against South Africa in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The center-back lost his position to Samuel Inkoom in the middle of the 2021/22 season, yet the team defended their FA Cup title after beating Bechem United.
Fatawu started 18 league matches with three games also coming from the bench in the tenth GPL season.
He has however confirmed that losing his position as a captain was never difficult but the news coming out claims the 30-year-old center-back would find a new home.
