Annor Walker makes two changes as he names a 25-man squad to leave Ghana tomorrow with a Chartered flight

Ghanasportspprtspage.com can exclusively confirm that the Black Galaxies of Ghana will leave the country on Friday, 29th July 2022 in the morning with a chartered flight for the return leg against the Junior Squirrels of Benin in the ongoing CHAN 2023 qualifiers.

Ahead of the return leg Coach Annor Walker has made two changes to the 25-man squad that faced the Benin national team B in Cape Coast last weekend.

Initially, the Ghanaian side were supposed to fly out from the country today, 28th July 2022 but the traveling schedule has changed to tomorrow morning with a chartered flight.

Ghana will play the Junior Squirrels of Benin in the return leg on Saturday at exactly 5:00pm in Cotonou.

The Black Galaxies are a step away of advancing into the next round of the competition after defeating their West African rivals last Sunday by a 3 – 0 scoreline in the first leg.

Goals from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Mohammed Alhassan and Gladson Awako guided Ghana to secure the first three points.

After missing out from the last three editions of the competition, the Black Galaxies (Local Black stars) are packed to break the deadlock and represent the nation in Algeria next year.

They made history when they reach the finals of the first edition held in Ivory Coast in 2009.

The last time Ghana competed at the tournament was 2014 where they lost to Libya on penalty shootout in the final stage.

Ghana have been eliminated twice in the qualifiers by Burkina Faso in the last two editions.
