Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak have extended the contract of Daniel Kodie after recovering from a long-term injury.
The midfielder put pen to paper this afternoon and signed a two-year contract extension to relaunch his career.
Kodie has been out of the Phobians’ lineup for several months after suffering a career-threatening injury during the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition in 2019.
In May 2021, he underwent surgery at the Netcare Linksfield Hospital in South Africa and he has fully recovered to make a return in the upcoming season.
He joined the reigning MTN FA Cup champions on a three-year deal in 2016 from Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals.
The 25-year-old player is expected to control the Phobians midfield alongside Abdul Aziz Nurudeen in the upcoming session.
