Your trusted Ghanaian website, Ghanasportspage.com can exclusively confirm that the champions of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League Kumasi Asante Kotoko will fly out for their Turkey training tour with a contingent of 65 players and officials.
The Porcupine Warriors on July 28, 2022, launch their Turkey trip powered by City Gate Travel and Tour at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Center.
The GPL giants will play Nigerian Champions Rivers United as part of their preparations on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The clash is organized by City Gate Travel and Tour, the leading traveling agency of the Ghanaian giants.
Asante Kotoko will leave the shores of Africa on Sunday, 14th August 2022 to continue their preparations for the upcoming season.
However, the team commenced training yesterday (Wednesday) in Accra as they continue to complete documentation for the tour.

“We wish to introduce to you a contingent of 65 players and officials of Asante Kotoko Kotoko Sporting Club who are desirous of embarking on a training tour in Turkey.
“Grateful if the embassy could assist them with all the necessary courtesies to enable them to embark on the trip,” – The club stated in a letter signed by Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, Admin and Operations Manager.
