Former goalkeepers’ trainer of Accra Hearts of Oak Abubakar Damba described the committee formed by Board members of Hearts of Oak as unnecessary. Abubakar Damba said this in an interview with www.ghanasportspage.com in China. “Oh just Ghs200.00? Ah what is it for?” he decried. He described Alhaji Akambi as a very dedicated person and hard working man within the rank and file of Accra Hearts of Oak. That he commands lots of respect as an individual in the Ghanaian society and within Accra hearts of Oak. Damba further explained that, some people went to the CEO and gave him Ghs500.00 but Alhaji Akambi by-passed those persons for Ghs200.00. “My brother if you think about this case critically ooh, it’s useless. I’m thinking that all these are football politics in Accra Hearts of Oak”, he said. He alleged that there are some people in Accra Hearts of Oak who don’t t like Alhaji Akambi and he thinks that’s really bad. “Hearts of Oak should think about how to develop their team and stop following these Ghs200.00 cases because it’s useless”, he blurted. They have formed the committee to investigate the matter so my brother let’s wait and see”, he concluded.
