Ghana premier league giants Accra Hearts of Oak initiated moves to sign Nigerien international Zakaria Victorien Adebayor Adje from Inter Allies to bolster their attacking machinery for the 2019/2020 league season.
The Phobians have gone two matches in the league this season without a win, not even a goal to boast of in their first two matches in the league campaign, and have been left with no option than to break the bank to land ground breaking strikers, and the lot has fallen on the Inter Allies skipper.
Board Chairman and majority shareholder of the club, Togbe Afede XIV, is worried about the club’s poor start in the league and has vowed to sign the Nigerian forward at all cost.
The domestic transfer window closes by midnight, 13th January 2020 and the Phobians have begun negotiations to capture the signature of the 23-year old goal poacher in the coming weeks.
Adebayor has scored once in his opening two league matches for Inter Allies, and the Hearts of Oak are confident that his inclusion, should negotiations go successful, would be significant to the course of the club as they look to winning their first league title for the first time in 10 years.
