Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold SC have both opened accreditation process for media houses wishing to cover the return fixtures of their CAF inter club competitions.
Asante Kotoko will host Kano Pillars on Sunday, 25th August, 2019 at the Baba Yara sports stadium for the second return encounter of the Champions League after a marginal 3-2 defeat in Nigeria. Ashantigold SC on the other hand will welcome Akonangui FC from Equatorial Guinea on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at the Len Clay stadium following a 1-1 draw during the first leg in Equatorial Guinea.
For the game between Kotoko and Kano Pillars, media houses can apply for their accrediation passes from now till Tuesday, August 20th, 2019.
Applicants are to send their introductory letters with passport pictures to: [email protected]
Media houses (radio) in Ashanti Region will be entitled to two (2)
slots each while those in other regions will be entitled to one (1) slot
each. Online and newspapers nationwide would get one (1) slot each.
Television stations will also be entitled to two (2) slots each.
An announcement on when the accreditation will be ready for pick up will be made in due course. The media will use the T. I. Ahmadiyya entry point at the stadium on the match day.
Media houses wishing to cover the Confederations Cup return fixture between Ashantigold SC and Akonangui FC have between now till Wednesday, 21st August, 2019, latest by 5:00pm local time to submit their applications. Application letters, per the directive of the club, should be on official letter head of the media house and, along with a media ID, submitted to [email protected] latest by the time given above.
