Euro 2020, matches at Allianz Arena maintained. Originally scheduled for this summer from 12 June to 12 July in 12 cities in 12 European countries, has been postponed for a year by UEFA due to the coronavirus pandemic which is affecting the whole world and the football planet in recent weeks. The European body had confirmed its intention to see the European Nations Championship take place under the same conditions as those planned this summer.
This Wednesday, Bayern Munich confirmed, by means of a press release, that its Allianz Arena will indeed host the Euro 2020 meetings as planned in 2021. “The municipal council of the Bavarian capital decided on Wednesday that Munich will remain a place of reception of the European Championship of football ”, one can in particular read on the official site of the Bavarian club. Three matches will take place in the Bayern stadium in the group stage, in the same way as one of the quarter-finals of the competition.
