Black Stars head coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has extended his congratulatory and well wishing message to Ghanaian talented midfielder Mohammed Kudus on his move to Eredivisie side Ajax FC.
The young midfielder completed his move to the Dutch topflight side on Thursday and the Black Stars coach Akonnor, has taken to his social media handle to congratulate the former FC Nordsjælland star for achieving this feat.
The Black Stars 19-year old Kudus inked a 5-year deal with Ajax following a successful medicals and negotiations.
Mohammed Kudus, who graduated from the Ghana U-20 side (the Black Satellites), made his debut for the senior national team, the Black Stars in November last year during the suspended AFCON 2021 qualifiers against South Africa, when Akonnor was then an assistant coach to coach James Kwasi Appiah.
Now the head coach of the Black Stars, CK Akonnor has been monitoring all players for the national team (both local and foreign), and looks excited about Mohammed Kudus’ move to the Dutch giants. He wrote via his twitter account ‘Congrats on your move @KudusMohammedGH. Wishing you all the best’.
