Aduana Stars General Captain, Emmanuel Akuoko, properly known as Obubulebu, has revealed that he is not retiring from football anytime soon. He believes he may end his career with the Dormaa based club.
“The reasons why some of us find it difficult to leave Aduana Stars is that no club in the premier league pays larger winning bonus than Aduana Stars do. I’m not sure. When we have a big game to play, our club owner, Nana Agyemang Badu gives us GHc600 as winning bonus instead of GHc400,” Akuoko told Kumasi based OTEC Fm.
“I was approached by Kotoko Two to Three times but Aduana’s offer was far better than Kotoko so I decided to stay. Aduana football club has really helped me a lot in my football career”, he added.
“I’m not retiring from football anytime soon, I still have 5 years in my playing career”, he concluded.
