Elmina Sharks ends the second transfer window in grand style by completing as many as five great deals before the deadline day on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
The Nduom Sports Complex side have been one of the busiest clubs in the market and have made five additions, comprising of former Ashanti Gold SC forward Benjamin Eshun, John Nyamekye formerly of Aduana Stars.
Other names include Raphael Essien from Eleven Wonders, Ibrahim Amidu from lower tier side Glowlamp Academy as well as Kingsley Braye of Inter Allies.
Benjamin Eshun joins the Sharks after stints with Liberty Professionals and Ashanti Gold SC. Eshun joined the Miners in July 2019 after ending a four-season spell with the Scientific Soccer Lads. His addition at that time was a direct replacement of Ivorian national Richard Djordi, who left the Miners to Tanzanian side Azam FC.
Eshun’s addition to the Sharks side is a boost for new coach Odartey Lamptey after the club lost their household name Benjamin Tweneboah to Aduana Stars in the window.
