Confined to his home in Monaco due to the COVID-19 enforced locked down, AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed his desire to pursue coaching as a career when he hangs his boots, and the player he would love to sign is PSG star Kylian Mbappe, who reminds him of his former Arsenal teammate, Thierry Henry.
Having played in the Premier League for eight seasons, Fabregas played with Henry at Arsenal as teammates and the memories of the France all time top scorer regarding his style play, efficiency in front of goal remain fresh with the Spaniard who have drawn comparisons between the two Frenchmen.
According to Fabregas, Mbappe has similar, if not same characteristics as Thierry Henry, and he would sign him if he were a coach now without any doubt.
“I would sign Mbappe without doubt, he reminds me of Henry”, Fabregas explained, speaking in an interview with Game Time. “He has the same characteristics and completeness”, he added.
Playing for Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain, Kylian Mbappe has been hugely linked with a move to the Bernabeau to unite with his countryman and manager of Los Blancos Zinedine Zidane.
