The Ghana Football Association has instructed Accra Hearts of Oak to play their subsequent matches behind closed doors following the Covid-19 mitigation non-adherence.
The continental club masters went contrary to the Covid-19 safety protocols which seek to protect fans and other stakeholders that visit the Accra Sports stadium to cheer their teams up in yesterday’s mouthwatering clash where they hosted their city nemesis, Accra Great Olympics at the Accra sports stadium.
According to the Ghana Football Association’s general secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, the GFA unreservedly condemns the scene of non-adherence of the covid-19 safety precautionary measures by the spectators at the Accra sports stadium in last Saturday’s match between Accra Hearts of Oak and their city rivals Accra Great Olympics.
However, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has tasked the disciplinary committee to expeditiously investigate that awkward incident that transpired at the Accra sports stadium and immediately award the necessary punishment to Accra Hearts Oak for failing to ensure the adherence of the covid-19 safety precautionary measure at the Accra sports stadium yesterday.
The Ghana Football Association has additionally ordered the phobians to play behind closed doors in their subsequent home games until the disciplinary committee is done with its task.
The GFA has also decided that only Ten (10) Management Members of Accra Hearts of Oak SC will be allowed at the stadium and Ten (10) Management Members for Away clubs during matches at Accra sports Stadium.
